Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Escape the Brainrot (the "Game"), developed and published by Brainrot Studios ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the Game, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Game. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the Game, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Game for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes, subject to these Terms.

3. In-App Purchases

• The Game offers optional in-app purchases, including virtual currency (Gems), cosmetic items, ad removal, and subscriptions.
• All purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies.
• Virtual currency and items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or refunded except as required by applicable law.
• Sigma Pass Subscription: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your device's app store settings.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Cheat, hack, exploit bugs, or use unauthorized third-party software to gain an unfair advantage.
• Use offensive, abusive, or inappropriate display names.
• Attempt to access other players' accounts or data.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Game.
• Use the Game for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

5. Accounts and Progress

• Your game account is created automatically using your device identifier.
• You may optionally link your account to Google Play Games for cross-device access.
• We are not responsible for lost progress due to device failure, uninstallation, or account issues, though we make reasonable efforts to maintain cloud save reliability.

6. Leaderboards and Social Features

• Your display name, high score, player level, and approximate last-login time are visible to players who add you as a friend.
• Leaderboard scores are publicly visible.
• We reserve the right to remove scores or accounts that we reasonably believe were achieved through cheating or exploitation.

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the Game, including but not limited to graphics, audio, code, characters, and designs, is owned by Brainrot Studios or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Game without our written permission.

8. Advertisements

The Game displays advertisements provided by third-party ad networks. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads. You may purchase the "No Ads" option to remove advertisements.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brainrot Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Game, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of virtual items, or interruption of service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Game at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your license to use the Game is immediately revoked.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Game or by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Brainrot Studios operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
